Feline Reverie

In this series of veiled portraits, the cat emerges as a familiar yet elusive mystery. The interplay of shadows and transparency blurs the line between what we think we know and what remains concealed. Each image invites us to reflect on the enigmatic nature of the cat, a creature that shares our lives but whose soul always seems just beyond our grasp. Who is it really, this companion we think we know but can never fully unravel? Through intimate depictions, I capture my own cat as a symbol of this mystery, questioning the delicate balance between independence and connection. These works explore not only the individual essence of my cat Ahsoka, but also the timeless fascination with the feline soul, inviting the viewer to look beyond the visible and consider the hidden depths of this ever-enigmatic companion.
